Miscellaneous Policies

The goal of Watch Them Grow Children’s Center is to provide a safe environment for all children. The staff reserves the right to ask that a child be removed, if a safe environment cannot be maintained. The staff will work with parents and/or any specialists regarding a behavior treatment plan.

Biting, hitting and spitting are considered to be serious issues.

If you find it necessary to withdraw your child from the center the program requires a two-week notice. The parent/guardian will be responsible for two weeks payment for failure to provide the required notice.

All employees at Watch Them Grow Children’s Center are required by Vermont State law to report to SRS any suspected cases of child abuse or neglect within 24 hours.

A copy of the licensing regulations for early childhood programs for the State of Vermont is always available in the parent information area.

At Watch Them Grow Children’s Center, we feel strongly that teachers and parents must work together. The interchange of ideas and information encourages feelings of trust between home and the Center, and insures both quality and consistency for the child. Two parent/teacher conferences will be scheduled annually and additional meetings if necessary. Parents are always welcome to visit the center at any time.
