Enrollment
Priority status considered on space available manner for children of:
- Students enrolled in a RBCTC program between the ages of 6 weeks to 5 years.
- Participants in Reach Up programs between the ages of 6 weeks and 5 years.
- Early Childhood Program students or Head Start students.
- Employees for the OESU school system between the ages of 6 weeks and 5 years.
- The general community between the ages of 6 weeks and 5 years (or pre-k).
- All others on space available and discretion of the Director and Head Teacher.
Fee Schedule
- Full Day – 7:00 to 5:00 or any pick up time over 4 hours.
- $29.00 – 6 weeks to 23 months
- $29.00 – 24 months to 35 months
- $27.00 – 36 months and up
- Half-Day – 4 hours
- $18.00
- River Bend Program Students
- $9.00 – 8 to 11, or 11:30-2:30
There will be a charge of $1.00 for every minute that a child is picked up after 5:00 PM. This fee may be paid directly to the on duty staff at the time of pick-up, or the following day.
Payment Guidelines
- Payment for full week is due at the beginning of each week.
- Payment must be made for full attendance whether child is physically present or not, this includes all prescheduled days that the Center is closed.
- After three months of attendance at the center the family receives one scheduled week’s vacation (unpaid by parents).
- Children receiving financial assistance are allowed a specific number of absences per month (unless seriously ill and childcare services are notified). Two pre-planned vacations per year are allowed if approved by childcare services ahead of time. Parent is responsible for any fees not covered by childcare services.
- River Bend students must work with the Adult Coordinator on the financial needs before enrollment. Childcare services must be approved through the end of school in June. Students changing status because of Coop work placement must notify childcare services for eligibility changes.
- Reach Up participants must provide a signed copy of childcare hours before child may attend. The parent is responsible for any part of the payment that is not covered by Reach Up.
- We reserve the right to end childcare services due to non- payment.
Registration
Parent and child will visit the Watch Them Grow Program before the child’s scheduled start date.
Enrollment Procedure
- Registration form completed with emergency information
- Medical information completed including copy of the child’s immunization card
- Enrollment Request stating the days and hours child is to attend and pick up release information.
- Information Release Consent
- Payment Plan filled out and signed
- Intake Information
- Activity consent release signed as indicated
- Child & Adult Care Food Program Income Eligibility Form
Hours
Monday through Friday 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, year round.
Calendar
Watch Them Grow Children’s Center is rarely closed for weather conditions and plans to serve your needs weekdays with the following exceptions:
- New Year’s Day
- Memorial Day (OESU scheduled day)
- The week of the 4th of July
- Labor Day
- Thanksgiving Day
- The day after Thanksgiving
- The day before or after Christmas
- Christmas Day
In the rare case that the center closes due to inclement weather, it will be publicized on local radio and a staff member will try to contact you.

Meals and Snacks
The Center will provide breakfast and afternoon snacks. Parents will provide lunch.
- Nutritious foods are encouraged.
- Please try to provide meals that do not need to be cooked at the Center.
- Please try to pack lunch with a cold pack; refrigerator space is limited.
The following guidelines are used during eating times:
Toddlers and Preschoolers
- Sharing of food by children is not allowed.
- Soda, candy, chips and other high sugar packaged items are discouraged.
- Fresh vegetables and fruits are encouraged.
- Gum is not allowed.
Infants
- Feeding schedule is to be provided by parent. Parent must inform teacher of preferred way of feeding.
- Formula or milk for bottles must be provided each day by the parent.
- Clean bottles for each feeding must be supplied.
- Pacifiers, bottles and food containers must be labeled with infants name.
- Children will not be allowed to nap with or carry a bottle or sippy cup
Nap and Rest Time
Rest/naptime is part of the daily schedule for every age group. Please provide the following for your child:
- crib sheet
- blanket
Bottles of milk or juice are not allowed at naptime.
