CanoeRiver Bend Career & Technical Center offers:

  • Career Portfolio and Resume Development.
  • Career & technology instruction, providing up to 3 high school credits per year in twelve different program areas.
  • Leadership development clubs: FBLA, FFA, SkillsUSA.
  • National Technical Honor Society.
  • College preparatory coursework.
  • College credit/college articulation agreements
  • Embedded academic credit toward high school graduation in
    English, science, social studies, and mathematics.
  • Co-operative Education work experience.

Students attending River Bend Career & Technical Center receive assistance with academic, social, and emotional issues as well as assistance with career and college planning. The Technical Guidance Coordinator is also responsible for new student applications, visits to the Center, registration and scheduling.
