Health Sciences Technology

The Health Science Technology Program is a two year college-preparatory program that is experiential and exposes students to health related careers  – from nursing to veterinary assistant.  Students may earn up to 10 college credits in Medical Terminology and Medical Legal and Ethical Issues. In addition, students will learn about anatomy and physiology,  have an opportunity to earn their Licensed Nurse Assistance Certification, and participate in a 30 hour internship during their 2nd year at area hospitals, nursing homes, veterinary hospitals, or doctors’ offices.
