Due to the continuing challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, River Bend has made the decision to move the 21st Century Media and Design class to an innovative, fully-online model for the first semester of school, until roughly mid-January.  Not only will this help to prevent the spread of COVID to the students and community, but we feel it also aligns with industry norms as many, if not most design jobs currently involve working remotely.

During this time, instruction will be delivered online to the students, with direct instructor assistance available in two 90-minute blocks each day via Zoom.  The curriculum will be largely unchanged from what had been planned, and 3 CCV credits will still be available to students though the CCV Fast Forward program.  Please note that juniors looking to receive CCV credit will need to take a short live assessment at RBCTC before enrolling at the college (these groups should be  no more than 4-5 students maximum at a time, with appropriate social distancing and safety measures in place). Students that may be struggling with this format will also have the opportunity for a once-per-week live session in the 21st Century classroom with Mr. Daniels providing direct instruction, again practicing appropriate safety measures.

Our first week of class, beginning September 8th, will remain live and in-person to help prepare students for the move to a fully-online course. Any other questions or to apply for the course, please see the buttons below.  For additional concerns, please feel free to email me at anthony.daniels@oesu.org

Thanks for your flexibility and cooperation, and we're looking forward to working with you all this year!
